Two associations have been established to promote the interests of importers, exporters and wholesalers in the Netherlands. There are also agents working at airports who are members.

A. Vereniging van Im- en Exporteurs in Vogels en Hobbydieren (Association of Importers and Exporters of Birds and Hobby Animals)

B. European Association of Importers and Exporters of Live Animals

Both are chaired by Rinus Borgstein
